Anya Baumberger

Anya Baumberger is an entrepreneur who believes the best companies are built on the ground. Originally from Ville-Marie, in Témiscamingue, from a family of Swiss origin where a job well done was part of everyday life, she developed a deep respect early on for effort, rigour and the people who make it possible.

A graduate in architectural design from Collège LaSalle, she joined Cuisi-n-art as a designer. Her business acumen, strategic vision and ability to mobilize teams quickly propelled her into leadership roles. A shareholder since 2012, she became the sole owner of the company in 2023, with a clear ambition: to make Cuisi-n-art a Quebec manufacturing benchmark where technological innovation and humanity move forward side by side.

This journey continues the vision of Réal Fortier, founder of Cuisi-n-art, Anya’s mentor and a builder deeply devoted to his teams for more than 40 years. After his passing, his daughter Caroline contributed to the company during an important transition period. This chapter is part of Cuisi-n-art’s history.

This connection also remains alive today through Frédéric Fortier, who serves as Director of Information Technology within the company.

For Anya, growth doesn’t come from numbers alone. It is built through solid processes, dedicated teams and a culture of continuous improvement. Passionate about robotics, automation and artificial intelligence, she sees technology as a lever to eliminate friction, improve quality and empower employees to excel.

Her management style is direct, approachable and deeply human. Present on the production floor as much as in strategic decisions, she favours a hands-on approach where every challenge becomes an opportunity to learn, grow and help the company thrive without losing its heart.
